Delivery & Shipping
How long does delivery of my Snushus order take?
We usually deliver the next business day – provided you order Monday to Thursday before 6:00 PM. All products are in stock in Switzerland and shipped via A-Post. For orders on Friday, delivery usually takes place the following Monday.
Is shipping free at Snushus?
Yes, shipping is free for orders over CHF 20. For orders under CHF 20, a small order surcharge of CHF 5 applies. Our tip: An extra can is usually worth it!
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No, there is no minimum order quantity. You can also order individual cans. Please note that for an order value under CHF 20, a shipping surcharge of CHF 5 applies.
How is my order packaged?
All orders are shipped in neutral, discreet packaging – without any indication of the contents.
Can I have my order delivered to a PO box or a pickup station?
Yes, delivery to a PO box (post office box address) is possible. Simply enter your PO box address at checkout. For parcel pickup at a My Post 24 station, select the corresponding option at checkout, if available.
How can I track my Snushus order?
As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email with the subject "Your order is on its way to…". For orders of more than 10 cans, the package is sent as a parcel and includes a tracking link – smaller orders are sent as A-Post letters, for which the post does not offer individual tracking.
My order has not arrived yet – what can I do?
Please first check if you have received a shipping confirmation by email.
- Yes, I have a shipping confirmation: Check the tracking status (for orders over 10 cans). The post usually delivers the package the next business day. If your package shows the status "Delivered" but you have not received it, please check with your neighbors or your mailbox again – and then contact us at info@snushus.ch.
- No, I have no shipping confirmation: It is possible that a product in your order is temporarily out of stock. We receive restocks weekly and will contact you in this case. If we have not yet contacted you, please write to us directly at info@snushus.ch.
Can I still cancel or change my order?
Orders that have not yet been shipped can usually be canceled or modified. Contact us as soon as possible by email at info@snushus.ch or via the chat on our website. Unfortunately, no changes are possible after shipping.
Does Snushus also deliver to Germany, Austria, or the EU?
Snushus.ch delivers exclusively within Switzerland. For orders from the EU, please visit snushus.eu, for orders from Sweden snushus.se.
Returns & complaints
What do I do if I received a wrong or damaged product?
We are sorry! Please write to us within 7 days of receipt at info@snushus.ch with a brief description and, if possible, a photo of the problem. We will find a quick solution together – whether replacement, credit, or refund.
Can I return products?
Since these are consumer goods, returns of opened products are unfortunately not possible for hygiene reasons. Unopened products can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us beforehand at info@snushus.ch.
What happens if my product has an expired best-before date?
We receive fresh deliveries weekly and regularly check our stock. If you still receive a product with an expired or soon-to-expire best-before date, please contact us – we will of course take care of it.
Payment
How can I pay at Snushus?
We accept all common Swiss payment methods:
- Credit cards: Visa, Mastercard
- TWINT
- Bank transfer (prepayment)
- Invoice
Important: Foreign credit cards and Revolut cards cannot be accepted for compliance reasons. Please use TWINT or bank transfer in this case.
Can I order on invoice?
Yes, you can order on invoice with us. Approval is granted after a short credit check directly at checkout.
Can I redeem a discount code or voucher?
Yes. You can enter discount codes at checkout in the "Discount code" field – directly before completing the order. Make sure to enter the code before payment, as it cannot be applied afterward.
I have paid but do not see an order in my account – what happened?
This happens in rare cases when the payment was not fully completed technically – for example, with unsupported cards. If you have not received an order confirmation by email and no order is visible in your account, the payment was not successfully processed. In this case, the amount will be automatically refunded within a few days. If you are unsure, feel free to contact us: info@snushus.ch.

Can I pick up my online order in the shop?
A pickup option is currently available at the Zug location. For a spontaneous purchase, we recommend visiting one of our stores directly. Additional pickup locations are planned.

Can I legally buy snus in Switzerland?
Yes, snus is freely sold and legally available in Switzerland. In the EU (e.g., Germany or Austria), traditional tobacco snus is not approved due to EU legislation – however, nicotine pouches without tobacco (All White / Nicotine Pouches) are available there.
What is the difference between Snus, All White, and Nicotine Pouches?
- Snus (Original): Contains ground tobacco, is moist, and has an intense tobacco flavor. Legal only in Switzerland and Sweden.
- White Portion: Dry pouch exterior, moist contents. Less staining, long-lasting flavor.
- All White / Nicotine Pouches: Completely tobacco-free, contain only nicotine and flavorings. No staining of teeth, discreet to use.
- CBD Pouches (e.g., Cannadips): Tobacco-free and nicotine-free – contain CBD oil.

What is the difference between snus and chewing tobacco?
Snus and chewing tobacco are both tobacco-containing products – but they are used differently. Snus is placed as a pouch under the upper lip and is not chewed; the tobacco does not come directly into the mouth. Chewing tobacco is chewed in the mouth and produces saliva that is spit out. Snus is legally available in Switzerland, whereas chewing tobacco is not approved in Switzerland.
Which Snus brands does Snushus carry?

Which Snus strength suits me?
Nicotine strength varies greatly depending on the product and brand. As a guideline: those switching from cigarettes should start with a mild to medium strength. On snushus.ch We have introduced a uniform strength scale for every product so you can directly compare different brands. The wetter a Snus is and the higher the pH value, the more nicotine is absorbed – this also plays a role alongside the pure nicotine content.
How do I store Snus properly?
Snus should be stored cool and dry – preferably in the refrigerator. This keeps it fresh, moist, and flavorful. Unrefrigerated Snus loses moisture and taste more quickly. Unopened cans keep until the printed best-before date when refrigerated. After opening, we recommend using the can within a few days.
How fresh is the Snus at Snushus?
Since we sell exclusively online and in our own stores and receive fresh deliveries weekly, our products are generally fresher than those distributed through intermediaries or kiosks.
Are there nicotine-free or tobacco-free products available?
Yes. Our range includes both tobacco- and nicotine-free CBD products as well as completely nicotine-free products like Edel Zero or VELO Zero. You can find the full range at snushus.ch/collections/products.
How do I use Snus correctly – instructions for cigarette quitters?
Take a pouch and carefully place it under your upper lip – preferably on the left or right side. The nicotine is absorbed through the mucous membrane in the mouth. Keep the pouch in your mouth and do not chew it. After 20–60 minutes, you can remove it and dispose of it in the lid compartment of the can or in the trash. Please do not swallow.
What should I do if I feel unwell after using Snus?
A slight tingling or burning sensation under the lip is normal, especially the first time. However, if you feel dizzy or unwell, remove the pouch immediately and drink some water. The nicotine content was probably too high for you. Next time, choose a milder variety and consult a professional if symptoms persist.

How do I create a customer account?
You can register during checkout or directly at snushus.ch/account/register. With an account, you have access to your order history at any time and can save your delivery address.
How do I reset my password?
A direct password change while logged in is currently not possible. However, you can reset your password at any time using the "Forgot password" function on the login page. You will then receive a link by email to set a new password.
How can I delete my account?
Write us an email at info@snushus.ch – we will take care of it for you as quickly as possible.
Age verification & youth protection
From what age can I buy Snus?
All our products are intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. We do not sell to minors – neither online nor in our stores. In the online shop, we perform age verification during the order process.
How does the age verification work when ordering?
During the ordering process, you will be asked to confirm your age. We reserve the right to request proof of age if there are uncertainties. Orders where the minimum age cannot be verified will be canceled.
Privacy
How does Snushus handle my personal data?
