The history of Epok Snus
Traditionally, snus is made with ground tobacco and is sold either loose or packed in small pouches. Until now, only the Original Portion, White Portion and White Dry Portion varieties were available on the market.
Epok revolutionised the snus market by becoming the first to produce a white snus variety that consisted mainly of plant fibres. In the manufacturing process, the otherwise brown tobacco leaves were cleaned thoroughly to make them white and then packed into pouches. Normally, snus has a brown colour as a finished product and runs to varying degrees depending on the variety.
Epok Snus, however, is completely white, both inside and out. It has never lost the great taste or intense effect of nicotine. The snus effect remains even with white tobacco.
White snus offers a number of advantages for snus users, for example, it does not discolour fingers or teeth when used. In addition, snus contains fewer toxic ingredients than traditional cigarettes and does not need to be burned when used, thus avoiding the formation of carbon monoxide.
